    Hillsborough County evacuation order lifted; some neighborhoods inaccessible

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County officials lifted the evacuation order put in place ahead of Hurricane Helene.

    Residents in Zone A may return to their homes as of 1 p.m. on Friday.

    The Shell Point and Dana Shores neighborhoods remain inaccessible, according to Hillsborough County officials.

    Residents returning to their homes are asked to use caution around any lingering floodwaters and to stay away from downed power lines.

    County offices and parks remained closed on Friday.
