    Hillsborough County asks residents to report damage caused by Hurricane Helene

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County is asking residents to report storm damage caused by Hurricane Helene.

    Residents in Hillsborough County can use a form online to report property damage or loss caused by the storm.

    Once residents report their damage, the county department will respond within 72 hours.

    if assistance is needed, Hillsborough County asks residents to call (833)-427-8676.

    According to Hillsborough County, staff will evaluate and document the report and provide information to the state and federal agencies regarding the damage.

    Hillsborough County wants to remind residents this is not a FEMA application, if residents need to register with FEMA they can do so online.
