Pasco County comfort stations open for those impacted by Helene

HUDSON, Fla. (WFLA) — Several comfort stations opened Sunday morning for neighbors in Pasco County impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Neighbors impacted by the storm can use the stations to cool off in A/C, charge their electronics, shower, and do laundry. City and county officials ask residents to bring supplies for showers and laundry.

All comfort stations in Pasco will be open Sunday between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Hudson Library , 8012 Library Rd, Hudson
• J. Ben Harrill Recreation Complex , 2830 Gulf Trace Blvd, Holiday
• New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center , 6630 Van Buren St., New Port Richey

The Hudson Library and the New Port Richey Aquatic Center will distribute food and water supplies until they’re gone.

Pasco County has seen a huge community effort to get people back on their feet, as a lot of neighbors lost everything.
