    Disaster recover center to open in Hillsborough County Monday

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A disaster recovery center will open in Hillsborough County on Monday for residents and businesses impacted by both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Debby.

    The center will be located at The Regent at 6437 Watson Road in Riverview and will be open between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday and then 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Oct. 1-6, county officials said.

    Hurricane Helene opens Midnight Pass after 4 decades

    Federal Emergency Management Agency officials will be at the center to help people and businesses complete applications for assistance.

    Visit the FEMA website for more information on available assistance. Hillsborough County residents can also visit HCFL.gov/StormRecovery for more available resources.
