WATCH: Eagle 8 flies over Helene damage across Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Eagle 8 flew over several areas across Tampa Bay, surveying the damage from Hurricane Helene.

On Monday, our crews surveyed the damage in Siesta Key and went up the Manatee and Sarasota coastline. They then flew over Hernando Beach.

The aerial footage can be viewed in the videos above.

Florida residents seeking disaster assistance can visit FloridaDisaster.org . We encourage Tampa Bay residents to visit their county websites for more localized resources and assistance programs.
