    Disturbance near the Gulf could form into a Tropical Depression

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A disturbance in the Northwestern Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico could form into a Tropical Depression in the next couple of days, the National Hurricane Center said.

    Environmental conditions could support the gradual development of this disturbance.

    The chance of development in the next seven days is 40%.

    A few hundred miles south of the Cabo Verde Islands, a disturbance in the Atlantic could form into a Tropical Depression in the next few days.

    Environmental conditions appear very likely to the development of this system, according to NHC.

    The National Hurricane Center has advisories on Tropical Storm Kirk and issued its last advisory for Tropical Depression Joyce.
