TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Wawa comes out on top in the first-ever convenience store study.

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), Wawa embraced the one-stop shopping model.

Wawa is famous for its breakfast station and made-to-go food selections.

According to ACSI, Wawa scored an 82 out of 100, making them first place. Second place went to QuikTrip and third to Buc-ee’s.

“We are grateful to our associates for making recognition like this possible by continuing to deliver our purpose of fulfilling lives at our stores,” Wawa CEO, Chris Gheysens said.

The study is based on 5,710 completed surveys which is about the overall convenience.

“We are also so thankful to our amazing customers for taking the time to complete the survey and for allowing us to serve them and create meaningful connections inside and outside our stores. These ratings are incredibly meaningful to all Wawa associates as they strive to provide the best possible customer experience every day,” Gheysens said.

According to ACSI, convenience stores became competitors in the food service industry.
