    Man charged residents for debris pickup, illegally dumped it on private property, police say

    NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) — New Port Richey police are looking for a man who allegedly charged residents for storm debris pickup and then illegally dumped the debris on private property.

    Byram Washington allegedly charged residents in the Gulf Harbors area $1,500 per load.

    He then allegedly dumped more than 120 yards of furniture and other debris on private property along Marine Parkway without permission, police said.

    Police warned residents to be aware of those who will try to prey on storm victims.
