Similar to yesterday, the heaviest and most widespread downpours will be west of I-75 early this evening. The rain chance is 50% late today. If you have Friday evening plans, make sure to bring the rain gear.

Overall, it will be a drier day on Saturday. The rain chance is just 30% in the afternoon, and there will be a warm breeze through the day. Rain chances ramp up during the day on Sunday, and the extra rain and clouds help hold highs in the mid 80s.

Rain chances remain high through the middle of next week as a tropical low spreads deep moisture across the state. All signs point to the system’s winds and organization remaining weak, but it may create flooding rain over time. We already have as a saturated ground, and rainfall totals could reach 4-7 inches in some spots next week. Watch for street flooding when the heavy rain falls.

Behind the system, it should dry out for the end of next week.
