Morgan Wallen fans concerned by tickets transferred out Ticketmaster accounts before Tampa concert

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa residents are having their tickets transferred out of their Ticketmaster accounts by hackers ahead of the Morgan Wallen concert.

Customers have gotten emails stating their tickets were being transferred followed by a completed transfer without them doing so.

Ticketmaster advises customers to use a strong password to keep hackers away. They stated this is not related to a data breach that happened earlier this year.

People across the country have also been having the same issue with tickets being transferred.

In New York, two customers purchased tickets for a Pink concert to later see the tickets were transferred without their consent.

Ticketmaster has reimbursed some customers at this time.
