Yard waste drop-off site to open in Hillsborough County

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Yard waste drop-off site will open Saturday in Hillsborough County.

The Hillsborough Heights Community Collection Center is at 6209 County Road 579 in Seffner. The facility will temporarily accept yard waste from Hurricane Helene beginning Saturday.

The facility will accept yard waste until further notice. Yard waste can include tree branches, limbs, and brush.

The facility is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Hillsborough residents with a valid ID.

Bagged yard waste will be denied.

Residents leaving yard waste at their curbs are encouraged to remain patient as it may take crews time to clean up.
