Waste Management suspends residential services in Sarasota County

SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — Waste management suspended residential services in Sarasota County mainland areas ahead of Hurricane Milton.

WM will suspend services on Monday, Oct. 7, and Tuesday, Oct. 8, to concentrate on the collection services on Casey Key, Manasota Key, and Siesta Key.

WM said storm debris and storm-impacted bulk items should be separated from regular trash and placed curbside.
