Tampa Solid Waste collecting debris ahead of Hurricane Milton

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The City of Tampa Solid Waste Department is collecting debris from areas impacted by Hurricane Helene ahead of Hurricane Milton.

Debris collection will continue until 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The department said not every neighborhood will be able to receive service before the storm, so residents should move or secure debris if they can.

Regularly scheduled trash and recycling for residential areas is continuing on Tuesday.
