    Hillsborough County Fire Rescue relocates 7 stations in evacuation zones

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County Fire Rescue will close all fire stations in evacuation zones A and B ahead of Hurricane Milton.

    The fire stations in these evacuation zones will close at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

    All vehicles and personnel from the evacuated stations will be relocated to other stations to continue responding to 9-1-1 calls.

    The stations that will evacuate are:

    • #15 Palm River
    • #17 Ruskin
    • #20 West Hillsborough
    • #29 Apollo Beach
    • #31 Town n’ Country
    • #35 Westchase
    • #39 Tampa Shores

    Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue wants residents to know, that firefighters cannot respond during hurricane-forced winds.
