Roof of MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre severely damaged by Milton

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The roof of the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton.

Photos shared by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue show part of the overhang was blown off.

The amphitheater is located at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Hillsborough County.

The amphitheater’s website does not list any remaining concerts for the rest of 2024.

Milton made landfall Wednesday evening near Siesta Key as a Category 3 hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm left a path of destruction across the Tampa Bay area.
