TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — WFLA’s news chopper Eagle 8 surveyed damage caused by Hurricane Milton after the storm made landfall in Siesta Key Wednesday night as a Category 3.

Eagle 8 flew over areas including West Pasco County, around the Anclote River and Elfers, and Tropicana Field. They flew along the coast and around Manatee and Sarasota counties.

On top of storm debris, many residents are dealing with lack of power, flooded roads, and fuel shortages.

Eagle 8 spotted a massive gas line in Bradenton where Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the state would distribute much-needed fuel in the wake of Hurricane Milton.
