Driver hurt after car crashes into Sebring home

SEBRING, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver was hurt Saturday morning after a car crashed into a home in Highlands County.

According to Highlands County Fire Rescue, the driver appeared to have lost control of the car before crashing into the home off NW Josephine Road in Sebring around 4 a.m.

Crews had to work to remove the driver from the car. The driver was flown to a regional trauma center.

No one in the home was hurt.

They must have been driving at an extremely high rate of speed to actually take down a side of the house!! I hope the people who lived there are ok and the driver.
