TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The University of South Florida announced its Tampa and Sarasota-Manatee campuses will reopen on Monday, with its St. Petersburg campus set to reopen Tuesday.

Despite opening campus, classes on Monday will still be held virtually except for USF downtown/MDD.

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15, all classes at all campuses will resume as normal. The school said faculty may still choose to hold classes virtually to give students flexibility.

Business operations will resume remotely on Monday, with all facilities opening on Tuesday using a hybrid approach, the school said.

USF said in-person classes and normal business operations are expected to fully reopen on Monday, Oct. 21.

Residence halls and dining in Tampa and Sarasota-Manatee campuses will reopen on Sunday, except Juniper and Poplar Halls (JPH) in Tampa, which does not have air conditioning due to an electrical issue.

Residence halls and dining in St. Petersburg will reopen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, except for Pelican Hall (RHO) which remains closed.
