Winn-Dixie distributes water, supplies in Sarasota, St. Pete

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Winn-Dixie is holding two distribution events this week in areas affected by Hurricane Milton.

The first 250 people in line at the Winn-Dixie at 4230 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota on Tuesday will receive water, ice, cleaning supplies and a $50 Winn-Dixie gift card.

Tuesday’s event starts at noon.

The grocery chain will also distribute supplies to 250 people in St. Petersburg on Wednesday. The event starts at noon and will take place at the Winn-Dixie at 2139 34th Street North.
