TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man wanted on a murder charge in Georgia was spotted Thursday morning walking along Interstate 4 in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A trooper saw Edward Hunt III, 62, of Conyers, Georgia, walking on the grass shoulder near mile-marker 9 along the interstate. The trooper stopped to check on him and his driver’s license pinged for a warrant for murder out of Georgia, FHP said.

Mile-marker 9 is near the interchange with Interstate 75.
