Hope Bus opens in Bradenton for hurricane victims

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hope Bus will be in Bradenton on Sunday, passing out essential items following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, after their devastating impact on the community.

The Hope Bus will be at GT Bray Recreation Center, located at 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., food, water, and other essential supplies will be handed out.

Hope Navigators are also available to assist anyone impacted by the storms, including crisis counseling and hope navigation.

The bus will also be in Daytona Beach today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dickerson Heritage Library.

On Saturday, the Florida Department of Children and Families said more than 1,000 people were served in Bradenton, Lakeland, and Daytona by the Hope Florida team.

The Hope Line is also open 24/7 and can be reached at 833-438-4673. They have helped more than 10,000 Floridians since Hurricane Milton.
