    Hillsborough County to open additional comfort stations

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County will open four additional comfort stations Monday for those recovering from Hurricane Milton, county officials announced Sunday.

    The new comfort stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily, until further notice.

    All comfort stations will provide showers, restrooms, and washers and
    dryers for laundry. Hot food or boxed meals will be available for lunch and
    dinner.

    With the new locations, the county now has a total of eight comfort stations:

    • Wimauma Civic Center, 5705 Hillsborough St., Wimauma
    • University Mall, 2200 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa
    • Seffner Mango Park, 410 N. Kingsway Rd., Seffner
    • 9851 S. U.S. 41, Gibsonton
    • Keith Waller Park, 1318 Sydney Dover Rd., Dover
    • University Area Community Development Corporation, Inc., 14013 N. 22nd St., Tampa
    • Progress Village Senior Center, 8701 Progress Blvd., Tampa
    • Hillsborough Avenue and Hanley Road in Town ‘N Country, 7501 W. Hillsborough
      Ave., Tampa
