Hunter Bailey Talks 49ers Football With Wes & Walker
The Charlotte 49ers entered last weekend at 2-6, needing to win out to qualify for a bowl game, in the first year under Biff Poggi. That possibility looked bleak, when Charlotte found itself down 17-0, on the road to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Instead, for the first time really all season, they responded well to adversity and would force overtime, eventually winning 33-26.
Terrence Oglesby Talks Hornets First Road Trip With Wes & Walker
The NBA season is off and running, and the Hornets have already completed their first home stand, along with their first road trip. Charlotte finds themselves at 2-4, going 1-2 at home, and on the road. The first road trip had the opportunity to be 0-3, after dropping the first game in Houston. But after eeking out a win at Indiana, a 2-1 trip was on the table, before a disappointing second half against the Mavs, gave the Hornets an eventual 1-2 trip.
Panthers Fans Out on Bryce Young After 1-7 Start
There isn't a more criticized position to play in sports than QB, and Bryce Young is learning that the hard way in the NFL. After being the best QB at the high school, and college level, Young's transition to the NFL has been more steep than initially thought. Young arguably had his worst game as a pro, as he threw three interceptions in the loss to the Colts yesterday afternoon, two of which were returned for touchdowns, as he essentially gave the opponent more points, than he gave his own team.
Jeff Taylor Talks HSFB Playoffs With Wes & Walker
It's November, which means that the college football season is entering the final month of the regular season, and the NFL season is really heating up. It also means that the high school ranks will be determining state champions for all different levels, and it gets underway this weekend in the state of North Carolina.

The Panthers picked up their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Houston Texans 15-13, giving Frank Reich his first win as the franchises head coach and Bryce Young his first career victory. While it was big for both of those guys, this was huge win for the team as whole with […]
Hunter Bailey Previews Last Month of 49ers Season
Believe it or not, we are in the final month of the college football regular season, as the calendar has turned to November. Back when the season began, 49ers fans were dreaming of making a second-ever bowl game, after an off-season, headlined by the hire of Biff Poggi, followed by the new head coach, making bold claims about how competitive his program would be. Instead, Charlotte finds itself at 2-6, needing to win their remaining four games, to qualify for a bowl game. Those remaining four games, come against Tulsa, Memphis, Rice, and South Florida, with Tulsa being the only team on the schedule with a losing record, making it hard to envision them qualifying for a bowl game.
Terrence Oglesby Talks Hornets First Homestand
Believe it or not, the first week of the NBA season is in the books, and the Hornets find themselves, 1-2, as they prepare to hit the road for the first time in 2023-24. Charlotte opened the season with an impressive showing, taking down the Hawks, before losing back-to-back games, to the Pistons and the Nets respectively. While Brandon Miller has impressed off the bench, LaMelo Ball has struggled to shoot the ball efficiently from the field, and veterans Gordon Hayward, and Terry Rozier are still rounding into form.
James Harden Traded To Los Angeles Clippers, Social Media Reacts To Blockbuster Move
The failed experiment of James Harden in Philadelphia is finally over. In a blockbuster trade, Harden was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers Monday night. According to ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, James, P.J. Tucker and Filip Petrušev are being shipped to California in exchange for Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, Nic Batum and KJ Martin. The […]
Bryce Young Overcomes Adversity in First NFL Win
For the first time as a starting QB in the NFL, Bryce Young led the Panthers to a 15-13 win over the Houston Texans, to secure his first win as a starter, and the first win under new head coach Frank Reich. The final score would indicate that the game wasn't pretty, and you'd be exactly right, but for a winless team, the Panthers aren't looking for style points, but instead something to build off of, as the season moves forward.
