What’s The Latest on Brian Burns Contract Situation?
This time last week, it was unclear whether or not Brian Burns would suit up in the season opener against the Falcons, after a hold-in, as he was hoping to receive a new contract. While Burns would eventually suit up, and perform at a high level, he still hasn't received a new contract. Now that won't impact his status for Monday's game against the Saints, it is worrisome that he hasn't received a new contract. Nick Bosa of the 49ers, earned a big payday just before the season started, and Chris Jones of the Chiefs, received a new contract, after missing their season-opening loss to the Lions. Meanwhile, Burns is still playing on his current agreed upon contract.

Should The Panthers Be Willing to Trade Andy Dalton?
After Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury on the fourth play of the game against the Bills, the outlook for that position is currently up in the air. Publicly the Jets have made it known that they are confident in Zach Wilson after he helped lead them to a comeback win on Monday night, but this is a guy who was benched in favor of journeymen backups just last season. With the move to trade for Rodgers, the Jets are built to win now, and for guys like Robert Saleh, and Joe Douglas, they can't afford to see another losing season go by.

Brian Burns Reports to Practice, Will He Play On Sunday?
After a brief absence, Brian Burns was spotted at practice today, wearing full pads, although he did not participate in the team's stretching routine, but was a full participant during team drills. His absence was described as a "personal matter", but many believe it was him, seeking a deal to be done before the season opener, this Sunday at Atlanta. Burns and his camp were seeking a new deal, worth around $28 million a year, meanwhile, the Panthers seemed more comfortable paying roughly $23 million. The self-imposed holdout was in response to Nick Bosa waiting for a new deal from the 49ers, which was completed today, as he signed a historic, five-year, $170 million dollar contract, making him the highest defensive player in NFL history.
