Xceptional Athlete: Kaukauna’s Bron Schaefer

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Last season was a memorable one for Kaukauna as the Ghosts clinched a share of the FVA title for the first time since 1995. But entering this season, their star quarterback Finnley Doriot was gone, so finding his successor would be a challenge.

Luckily for the Ghosts, the transition has gone without a hitch as junior Bron Schaefer has excelled in what was Doriot’s role. The new signal caller is known for his talent on the pitching mound, ranking top 15 in the state in baseball, however what he’s accomplished on the gridiron speaks volumes to Schaefer’s work ethic and leadership.
