GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Packers announced a trio of roster moves on Saturday afternoon ahead of their game against the Rams on Sunday.

Cornerback Robert Rochell and fullback Andrew Beck were signed/elevated from the practice squad to the active roster. But, the major headline is the team’s suspension of wideout Romeo Doubs for one game.

According to the release, Doubs was placed on the reserve/suspended list for one game due to conduct deemed detrimental to the team.

Doubs’ actions are unclear and haven’t been made public, but in the release, general manager Brian Gutekunst said that Doubs’ “decisions and actions during the week negatively impacted the team.”

“Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week’s game,” Gutekunst said. “While we are certainly disappointed, we are confident that we will be able to move forward in a positive manner. Romeo is a valuable member of our team and we look forward to welcoming him back next week.”

As for Rochell, he’s already appeared twice this season as a gameday elevation. He’s played 39 total regular season games as a member of both the Rams and Packers.

The Packers and Rams kick-off on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The game will be aired on Local 5.
