GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Green Bay Packers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 24-19 in Week 5, pushing the Pack over .500. Safety Xavier McKinney recorded his fifth interception, becoming the first player in NFL history to have a pick in each of his first five games with a new team.

Green Bay Nation’s Ryan Wood and Marques Eversoll joined Lauren Helmbrecht to discuss McKinney’s impact on the Packers’ defensive scheme, along with two standout players making their mark on the team: tight end Tucker Kraft and rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper.

The Green Bay Nation team also talked about Romeo Doubs’ suspension after he returned to practice for the first time in a week on Wednesday.

Local 5’s Cam Ezeir went into the locker room for “In the Zone” to hear how rookie safeties Evan Williams and Javon Bullard have worked their way into the lineup. Lauren, Ryan, and Marques then discussed whether the Packers would continue this defensive rotation.

In “Challenge or No Challenge,” presented by Bayside Machine Corporation, Lauren made predictions about Week 6, including rookie starters and Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray’s rushing performance, while Ryan and Marques had the chance to throw the challenge flag like Matt LaFleur.

Finally, the Green Bay Nation team shared their “Green and Bold” picks for Week 6 winners.
