    Wisconsin Silver Alert canceled after authorities find missing 73-year-old dead

    STOUGHTON, Wis. (WFRV) – A Silver Alert has come to a tragic end after authorities in southern Wisconsin have located a missing 73-year-old deceased.

    According to a release, on Oct. 11, George Alexander, 73, of Stoughton, left his residence early in the morning without notice to his wife. Alexander was reported to Have left behind his phone and wallet.

    Alexander was said to be last seen leaving Stoughton at around 2:00 a.m., heading east on Highway 57 toward Interstate 91.

    After an updated release, authorities have confirmed that Alexander was located deceased. The Wisconsin Department of Justice provided no additional details aside from the cancellation of the Silver Alert.
