It much easier for parents to sit their kid in front of a device or video game screen than it is to do some actual parenting. Kids are not equipped to handle social situations and the pressures that come with it anymore. They’re fragile now as a result and act out in ways that are completely maladaptive and attention seeking due to the lack of attention at home
