UPDATE: Crash on VA-360 in Halifax County cleared

UPDATE: 10:03 A.M. HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. ( WFXR ) — After several lanes were closed for more than two hours on Wednesday morning, VDOT says the crash on VA-360 in Halifax County is now cleared.

All lanes are open.

UPDATE: 7:43 A.M. HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. ( WFXR ) — A detour has been set up on VA-360 after a vehicle crashed, near Long Branch Lane, in Halifax County on Wednesday morning.

VDOT says all east and westbound lanes are closed. At this time, traffic is being diverted onto Terrys Bridge Road and then back onto 360.

Drivers can continue to expect delays in this area.

HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. ( WFXR ) — Drivers traveling on VA-360 in Halifax County can expect delays after a vehicle crashed on Wednesday morning.

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports the crash is on Bethel Road, near Long Branch Lane. As a result, all east and west lanes are alternating closures to help traffic flow.

Those traveling in this area are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
