Pinpoint Weather: Warming up for the weekend

ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) — Warmer air will return to the region this weekend as high-pressure slides to the east and winds shift around to the south.

For Saturday, temperatures will start the day below average in the 50s before rising to near-average levels, in the 80s, by afternoon.

As winds become more southerly, humidity will increase over the next several days. Dry conditions will continue through the weekend with rain chances returning during the work week.

Warm air will continue to move in. Temperatures will rise into the 80s for the weekend. Temperatures return to the 90s for most of next week. Overnight lows return to the 60s and 70s as humidity increases.
