    Arrest made in connection to homicide of a 33-Year-Old man in Danville

    UPDATE 10/3 4:08 P.M. DANVILLE, Va. ( WFXR )- The Danville Police Department has made an arrest following the homicide on Wednesday, October 2 on Fagan Street.

    Danville Police Department has arrested and charged 29-year-old Tyree Rafael Brandon with second-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm in public to cause injury.

    At this time, there is no further information.



    DANVILLE, Va. ( WFXR ) – The Danville Police Department is investigating a homicide after a welfare check on October 2.

    Around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded at the 200 block of Fagan Street for a welfare check. On the scene, officers found a man in the driveway suffering from a gunshot wound in the upper body.

    Man killed during early morning shooting in Lynchburg

    33-year-old Azra Jermann Keene was given life-saving treatment before being transferred. He later died from his injuries.

    The homicide remains under investigation.
