    Stolen gun, meth, cocaine & more allegedly seized in Henry County, woman charged

    HENRY COUNTY, Va. ( WFXR ) – The Henry County Sheriff reports a woman has been arrested for allegedly possessing weapons and narcotics during the search of a home in Fieldale on October 13.

    The sheriff said that on Sunday, members of the HCSO SWAT Team served a search warrant on Clyde Prillaman St. in Fieldale. On the scene, officers allegedly seized what is believed to be methamphetamine, cocaine, black tar heroin, fentanyl, 4 firearms, unknown pills, a pill press, digital scales, packaging materials, and ammunition.

    One of the guns found during the search was allegedly reported as stolen out of Patrick County, the sheriff said. Investigators will be sending the seized items to the Virginia Department of Forensic Science for further analysis.

    During the search, 32-year-old Kayla Mae Bowman of Fieldale was arrested and has been charged with the following:

    • Possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance
    • Possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance
    • Possession of a firearm while in possession of a Schedule I or II drug
    • Possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon
    • Possession of ammunition by a previously convicted felon

You can also leave an anonymous tip with Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632- 7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2500.00 for information related to a crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
