City-County council addresses affordable housing, new leadership and eclipse plans
The Indianapolis City County Council held its full monthly meeting Monday night. The meeting started with a motion to move the council’s next full meeting. That meeting was scheduled for April 8, the day of the total solar eclipse. Councilors moved the meeting to one week earlier because of expected crowds in Indianapolis.

Sacred Places Indiana (SPI) awarded over $2 million in grants to help seven historic churches and congregations in Indiana to address repair needs with their buildings. Indianapolis Blue Line saved as lawmakers, local officials reach compromise
A bill that would effectively kill the Indianapolis Blue Line died suddenly Thursday after a compromise was reached between the state legislature and local leaders. The bill targeted Indianapolis and could have scuttled over one hundred million dollars in federal funds. Ban on gender-affirming care for minors allowed to take effect in Indiana
A federal appeals court on Tuesday allowed Indiana's ban on gender-affirming care to go into effect, removing a temporary injunction a judge issued last year. The ruling was handed down by a panel of justices on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago.
