    32-year-man killed, 2 others injured in overnight shooting in Humboldt Park, police say

    CHICAGO — A 32-year-old man was killed in a shooting that injured two other people overnight in Humboldt Park on the city’s Northwest Side.

    According to Chicago police, the victims were standing in the street in the 1700 block of North Harding Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Sunday when shots were fired by an unknown offenders or multiple offenders.

    Police say a 32-year-old man was shot in the head and taken to an area hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.

    Additionally, police say, a 19-year-old man was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the back and listed in good condition, while a female (age not given) was not shot but took herself to an area hospital with minor injuries from broken glass.

    There is nobody in custody, and Area Five detectives are investigating.
