    $9.2M winning lottery ticket sold at Jewel-Osco in Addison

    ADDISON, Ill. — An Illinois Lottery winner won $9.2 million on a ticket bought at a grocery store in the west suburbs.

    The winning ticket was purchased at Jewel-Osco, located at 140 West Lake Street, for the Saturday, Aug. 24 drawing.

    The lucky player’s ticket matched all six numbers to score the jackpot prize. The winning numbers were: 2-15-21-29-42-44.

    According to the Illinois Lottery, this is the second-largest Lotto prize won in 2024, following a $10.4 million Lotto jackpot won in Park Ridge in February.

    For selling the winning ticket, the Jewel-Osco will receive a bonus of one percent of the prize amount, that means a bonus of $92,000.
