    Police: Woman shot, killed while fleeing from gunmen on South Side

    CHICAGO — A woman was shot and killed while driving away from gunmen on the South Side Thursday morning.

    Two women, 27 and 30, were sitting in their car in the 7000 block of South Vernon at around 11:10 a.m. Two male offenders approached with guns, according to CPD.

    The 27-year-old woman driving sped away and one of the suspects fired a shot, which struck the woman in the head.

    She was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago.

    No other injuries were reported and the suspects fled in an unknown direction.

    I've got terrible news for all you wanna be experts....over 80 percent of the time, the victims knew the shooter and there is more to the story. so calm down killers, till you get all your facts straight.
