Woman dies after crashing three-wheel motorcycle into CTA bus

CHICAGO – A woman died after crashing her three-wheel motorcycle into a CTA bus early Sunday morning.

Chicago police said the crash happened at around 4:15 a.m. in the 7800 block of South Western Avenue near Ashburn.

A 41-year-old woman was traveling northbound on a three-wheel motorcycle when it crashed into a CTA bus that was also going north, according to investigators.

The woman was taken to Christ Hospital where she was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.

CPD’s Major Accidents team is continuing to investigate.
