    Police investigating robberies at Englewood McDonald’s

    CHICAGO – Authorities are warning the public of recent robberies that happened at an Englewood McDonald’s.

    Chicago police said the robberies happened at the McDonald’s located in the 6300 block of South Ashland Avenue. During the incidents, two or more suspects – usually wearing ski masks and armed with guns – approached the victims in the McDonald’s parking lot or inside the restaurant and demanded money, cell phones and food before running off.

    The robberies happened at the following times:

    • Saturday, Aug. 10 at 9 p.m.
    • Sunday, Sept. 1 at 8:18 p.m.
    • Monday, Sept. 2 at 8:10 a.m.

    Police described the suspects as two or three males anywhere from 16-29 years of age.

He and Chicago’s Police superintendent were so busy planning for the DNC and making sure that Chicago has a safe convention they left the residents of Chicago unprotected as usual . Now that the convention is over that costly safety plan has been put in file 13 !
