    Man arrested for deadly shooting in Greater Grand Crossing

    CHICAGO – A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that happened Tuesday evening in Greater Grand Crossing.

    Chicago police said Kevin Perez-Paredes was arrested just after 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of West Lincoln Highway in Chicago Heights.

    Perez-Paredes was identified as the suspect who fatally shot a 25-year-old man in the 7100 block of South Yale Avenue on Tuesday , according to police.

    He has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and one traffic citation.
