Man, 29, killed in crash on Eisenhower Expressway

CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was killed in a fatal crash on the Eisenhower Expressway on the city’s West Side.

The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. Monday on the I-290 eastbound ramp to Cicero Avenue. According to Illinois State Police, the driver was ejected from a vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

The medical examiner has identified the victim as Terrance K. Mitchell of Chicago.

The ramp was shut down after the crash as state police investigated, but has since reopened.

No further information has been provided at this time.
