    The full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox is given the name full “harvest moon” The light of the moon rising just as the sun set has helped farmers for millennia to harvest the crops in September. The moon is officially full tomorrow at 9:36 p.m. It rises in Chicago at 6:57 p.m.
