Two 19-year-old women stabbed in South Side home: CPD

CHICAGO — Two 19-year-old women were stabbed by a man who forced himself inside their home on the city’s South Side.

A person of interest is being questioned, according to police.

The stabbing happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday on the 6000 block of South Prairie in the Washington Park neighborhood.

Police said the women were inside a residence when a man forced entry into the home, took out a sharp object and stabbed the victims.

The 19-year-olds sustained minor lacerations on their bodies and were both transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
