    Man boxed in by 2 vehicles and robbed while riding bicycle in Humboldt Park, Chicago police say

    CHICAGO — A man riding his bicycle was boxed in by two vehicles and robbed Sunday evening in Humboldt Park.

    Family on edge after surviving armed robbery, attempted carjacking

    According to Chicago police, the 25-year-old man was riding his bike in the 2900 block of West Grand Avenue just before 5:15 p.m. when two vehicles, a white sedan and a white SUV, boxed him in.

    Police say two male offenders exited the vehicles, battered the victim and took personal property. They then got back in the vehicles and fled in unknown directions.

    Police say no injuries were reported, and nobody is in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.

    Dude must have been riding with the stash. Very abnormal for car occupants to rob someone on a bike.
