    3 shot inside bar in Joliet: police

    JOLIET, Ill. — Police in Joliet are investigating a triple shooting inside a bar early Sunday morning.

    The shooting happened around 1:25 a.m. at Eden’s Bar and Grill, located at 926 Gardner Avenue.

    Upon arrival on scene, officers discovered three people shot inside the bar and began rendering medical assistance to the victims until paramedics arrived.

    According to police, a 29-year-old man sustained three gunshot wounds to the lower body and was transported to Silver Cross Hospital. A 31-year-old woman was shot in the right ankle and transported to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center. A 25-year-old woman was shot in the right leg and was also transported to Silver Cross Hospital.

    The victims’ gunshot wounds are non-life threatening, authorities said.

    Police believe that the gunfire came from outside of the bar.
