    PHOTOS: Christkindlmarket reveals 2024 souvenir collection, including iconic boot mug

    CHICAGO — The Christkindlmarket revealed on Thursday its 2024 souvenir collection.

    The beloved holiday tradition is set to open in Chicago at Daley Plaza and Aurora at RiverEdge Park on Nov. 22. Both markets have free admission.

    With the announcement of the market coming back for another season, visitors can also expect the arrival of new merch!

    This year’s new souvenir collection includes:

    The iconic mug boot is back and, according to Christkindlmarket, “features a sleek black exterior with a warm red interior, adorned with cozy market scenes and holiday-themed designs.”

    A new Nutcracker mug that is “shaped like the beloved holiday character, this non-alcoholic beverage mug is the perfect companion to the boot mug, sporting a matching red and black color scheme.”

    The ceramic beer stein is returning to the mark for its second year and “features a delightful Nutcracker marching band set in a bustling holiday market scene.”

    Lastly, the 4th annual Christkindlmarket ornament which is “shaped like the boot mug and full of intricate holiday details, it’s hand-painted and glass-blown in Europe.”
