‘Love Island USA’ Hannah Smith charged after threatening to kill police officer

ATLANTA — “Love Island USA” competitor Hannah Smith was arrested in Georgia last month after threatening to kill a police officer.

According to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Department, 27-year-old Smith faces one felony count of Willful Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer and one felony count of Terroristic Threats and Acts.

TMZ reports the season 6 “Love Island” reality star was at an event venue in Atlanta on Sept. 30, and was escorted out for being disorderly. A cop on scene attemped to take Smith to a rideshare and she allegedly tried punching the officer.

Smith was then placed into custody and while being tranferred to jail, she allegedly threatened to kill the officer.

She was released on bond the following day, Oct. 1.
