Million dollar lotto ticket sold at 7-Eleven in Chicago

CHICAGO — Someone started this week a million dollars richer.

A winning Illinois Lottery ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven on Chicago’s northwest side earlier this week, lottery officials said.

The ticket was purchased for Monday’s Lotto drawing at the store located at 5037 West Lawrence Avenue.

It matched all six numbers to win the $1 million jackpot.

The winning numbers were: 7-20-24-27-35-39.

For selling the winning ticket, the 7-Eleven will receive a one percent bonus of the prize amount, or $10,000.

Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize.
