Harry Potter store coming to Magnificent Mile

CHICAGO — Hogwarts is coming to Chicago with a Harry Potter store opening next year on the Magnificent Mile.

Warner Bros. Discovery announced Thursday that the Chicago store will span 12,300 square feet.

It will open in the spring at 676 Michigan Avenue.

“Our ambition is to bring some Harry Potter magic to Chicago with our uniquely themed shopping experience and unmatched selection of products. I am delighted we have secured such a great property in a prime location and look forward to the opening next year,” said Warner Bros. EVP Sarah Roots.

The two other locations are in London and New York.

A Harry Potter TV series is due to hit HBO in 2026.
