    Powerful hurricane Milton produced devastating rainfall, and powerful winds, and catastrophic storm surge that reached up to 7 feet in the Sarasota, Fla area.

    Milton was the third landfalling hurricane this year. Only other years to produce 3+ landfalling hurricanes: 1871, 1886, 1964, 2004, 2005.
